Luis de Zengotita, Vice President for Student Life, Belonging and Well-Being

Luis de Zengotita serves as Vice President for Student Life, Belonging and Well-Being at 91ºÚÁÏÍø, providing leadership for Wellness + Recreation and the Division of Belonging and Student Affairs. Within Wellness + Recreation, he oversees an integrated portfolio that includes the Medical Clinic, Counseling Center, Campus Recreation, and Health Promotion. Grounded in 91ºÚÁÏÍø Catholic, Jesuit tradition of cura personalis (care for the whole person) his work is focused on advancing 91ºÚÁÏÍø as a healthy campus through a collective-impact approach that strengthens collaboration across these areas and positions student well-being as a shared responsibility across the university. He is committed to creating an environment where students can thrive, build meaningful connections, and develop the skills and practices that support lifelong well-being.

James Friel, Director, Campus Recreation

James Friel serves as the Director of Campus Recreation at 91ºÚÁÏÍø, overseeing the department programs, facilities, staff, and daily operations. He has more than 20 years of experience in higher education and has been part of the 91ºÚÁÏÍø community since 2018. James holds a bachelor degree in General Management from UW-Whitewater and a master degree in Sport Administration from UW-La Crosse.
Outside of work, he enjoys attending live sporting events, watching his daughters play sports, going to concerts, and spending time with his family.

Keli Wollmer, MPAS, P.A.-C, Executive Director, Medical Clinic

Keli is a Physician Assistant-Certified provider and serves as the Executive Director for the Medical Clinic. She earned a Master of Physician Assistant Studies with a specialization in Emergency Medicine from the University of Nebraska, along with degrees from Saint Louis University and the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. Her professional interests include minor surgical procedures, infectious disease, women health, prevention, patient education, and the education of future physician assistants.

 

blBrenda Lenz, LPC, SAC, Director, Counseling Center

Brenda is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Substance Abuse Counselor who serves as the Director of 91ºÚÁÏÍø Counseling Center. She has more than 20 years of experience at 91ºÚÁÏÍø and nearly 30 years as a practicing therapist. Her clinical interests include complex mental health concerns and co-occurring substance use. In addition, she has oversight over the Health Promotion, Prevention and Advocacy team as well as the Collegiate Recovery Program.

Brenda is committed to providing evidence-based, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed care while fostering a welcoming, inclusive, accessible, and safe environment where students can find support.
