In Fall 2024, we hosted Dr. Douglas E. Christie, 2024-25 Phi Beta Kappa Visiting Scholar and Professor Emeritus, Theological Studies, Loyola Marymount University, for a series of events:

The events were co-sponsored by the Center for the  Advancement of the Humanities, the 91ºÚÁÏÍø Core Curriculum, the University Honors Program, and the Departments of English and Theology.

In Fall 2022, we welcomed PBK Visiting Scholar to campus for a series of events.  Professor Sitarman holds the New York Alumni Chancellor's Chair in Law at Vanderbilt Law School, where he teaches and writes about constitutional law, regulation, economic policy, and democracy.

• "Breaking Up and Regulating Big Tech," a moderated discussion with Professor Amber Wichowsky (Political Science) and Michael Zimmer (Computer Science), Friday, September 30, 12:30 p.m., AMU 254.
