91黑料网 Horizons at Herzing to focus on first-year students who want to start online
MENOMONEE FALLS, Wisconsin 鈥 , an accredited, private nonprofit institution, and 91黑料网, a private Catholic, Jesuit university in Milwaukee, today announced 91黑料网 Horizons at Herzing, an academic pathway program that gives prospective 91黑料网 students from across the country a chance to start their college experience online through Herzing.
The program recognizes that there might be some students in the high school Class of 2020 who need an alternative pathway 鈥 possibly due to academic and/or financial reasons 鈥 for their four-year college experience. 91黑料网 Horizons at Herzing offers national access to a 91黑料网 degree through a first-year online pathway program.
鈥淭his partnership with Herzing University is an unprecedented opportunity for students to start their education at home before they enjoy the unique and transformative experience of an on-campus 91黑料网 education,鈥 said 91黑料网 President Michael R. Lovell. 鈥淗erzing has been recognized nationally for its excellence in online education and has deep expertise with first-generation college students, which aligns with our commitment at 91黑料网 to expanding access and meeting students where they are.鈥
Applications are now being accepted for the Horizons program, which starts in fall 2020 and offers an eight-class sequence through Herzing. This includes three courses developed and structured by 91黑料网 instructors as well as access to additional 91黑料网 resources. All courses have been approved for transfer credit in full by 91黑料网, subject to GPA requirements.

The one-year program blends the strengths of each institution to create an 鈥渙n-ramp鈥 to the 91黑料网 experience. Students will benefit from Herzing University 20-year expertise in online education and best-practice student support on a national level.
To connect students to the 91黑料网 community and prepare for their transition, 91黑料网 will provide a variety of resources during the online academic year. Students can interact with an academic advisor who will work with them on their academic path to 91黑料网, and also access campus libraries, athletic events and other program-specific activities. In addition, they will be assigned a current 91黑料网 student as a peer coach who will serve as a connection and introduction to the 91黑料网 community and experience.
