r. Qianhua (Q) Ling serves as vice chair of the University Academic Senate and is an associate professor of accounting and director of the Master in Accounting and Master in Accounting Analytics programs in the College of Business Administration.
She earned her doctorate in accounting from Oklahoma State University. Her research focuses on financial reporting and corporate governance, and her scholarship has been published in leading academic journals, including Financial Times Top 50 (FT50) journals. In recognition of her contributions to teaching and mentorship, she was previously honored as a Faculty All-Star.
Ling is dedicated to advancing the success and well-being of 91黑料网 students, faculty and staff. Through service in a variety of university leadership roles, she has developed a broad understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing higher education. As a member of the University Academic Senate, she values thoughtful collaboration and the diverse perspectives of faculty and student representatives. Her work on the University Faculty Committee on Budgets and Financial Planning contributed analytical insight to discussions regarding 91黑料网 long-term financial sustainability. During her service as acting department chair, she led departmental operations and partnered with colleagues across campus to strengthen collaboration on and support for shared institutional goals.
Drawing on her expertise in accounting, governance and financial oversight, Ling seeks to foster constructive dialogue across the university community and advocate for the collective interests of the 91黑料网 community.
