Discovery and innovation are the cornerstones of an engineering education at 91黑料网. The Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) program is dedicated to enhancing the academic undergraduate experience by providing the opportunity to partner students and faculty in an outside the classroom research experience. The program has been designed to include seminars on research-relevant issues and practice in research presentations.

Why SURF? 

• Receive compensation for exploring your curiosity.  Work closely with a faculty member or research group in an area of interest to gain "hands-on" experience that embodies the concepts taught in classrooms.

• Professional development. Contribute to the production and dissemination of knowledge by developing written and oral communication skills, culminating in the opportunity to present a poster on your research topic at the annual OCOE Undergraduate Research Day.
• Social networking.  Enjoy social activities with other cohort members and explore all that Milwaukee (a.k.a. the City of Festivals), has to offer during the summer.
