Daniel Zitomer, Brooke Mayer, Anthony Parolari, Patrick McNamara and Walter McDonald from CCEE on their new grant from the titled "Novel Technologies to Mitigate Water Contamination for Resilient Infrastructure." The $3.8 million, 2-year contract is comprised of four individual projects targeting contaminant mitigation; improved disinfection of persistent surface-associated pathogens; electrochemical removal of the "for-ever" chemicals, PFAS; and water data fusion and analytics to mitigate soil and water contamination.
